Four for four...

Hello all...
Homework for tonight
My suggestion to you would be to get the math and LA assignments out of the way quickly so that you may focus your efforts on studying for your social exam. Remember that there will be time to study over the lunch hour tomorrow as the exam is not until the end of the day. Those students that did not use their time wisely in class today have their work cut out for them tonight.

  • Study for tomorrow's unit exam - focus on the information from the review questions, maps of the pacific rim countries, the three human needs, and festivals & traditions in China.

  • Finish your graphing booklet if you didn't finish in class - due tomorrow

  • Write 2 Alphabet poems - 1 with 26 words about the topic you brainstormed in class and 1 that is 8 sentences in length beginning with the letter you recieved in class. Each word or sentence in the poem must start with a successive letter of the alphabet. Due tomorrow
  • Write 1 concrete poem on the subject of your choice - due tomorrow

Hello all...
Another great week is off to a running start. Here's hoping the weather cooperates and warms up a little.
Homework for today

  • No assignments due tomorrow but students should be preparing for the upcoming China Unit test.
  • Students may also work on the poetry portfolio assignment that is due next Monday.
Reminders
The grade 6 classes will be having a Greek Feast this Friday, April 22. Donations of food supplies for the feast are still needed as are parent volunteers (slaves) to help run the event. Please contact me at the school if you have questions or can help out.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of term 4. All students should go to their new options unless they are in a half year or full year option such as Band, Choir or Investigations.
Have a great night!
