Yucky weather today but a good day otherwise. Let's hope that this is the last of the white stuff for this year.

  • Sky Science Unit Exam - Monday, March 21. Study your review questions and the items on the study guide you made in class this morning.
Language Arts
  • Writing Metaphors - Complete the list from Thursday's class for Monday. Identify the two things being compared in each metaphor - if they are both nouns, chances are good that you have written a proper metaphor.

We had a bit of a twisty-durvey day with all of the changes to our regular schedule. We made it through though and are on track for the rest of the week.
Homework for today
Science

  • Sky Science review questions #1-21 will be collected for marking tomorrow during period 1. Please make sure you have them with you.
  • Sky Science Unit Exam is Monday, March 21
Social Studies
  • BLM 10.1 and 10.2 from Monday's class are due tomorrow. These are the questions your did on the overhead with Mrs. Kukucha.
Math
  • Please bring glue and scissors to class tomorrow - you will need these.
Parents - please sign and return the letter accompanying the interim reports by this Friday so I know you have seen your child's marks in the core subjects. Thank you!

Homework for today
Science

  • Unit Review questions #1-21 should have been handed in today. These will form the basis of study for your Unit test but you should also be studying your notes to date.
  • The Sky Science Unit exam has been moved to Monday, March 21
Social Studies
  • BLM 10.1, 10.2 and 10.3 is due for Thursday's class. Texts must be signed out from me before they can be taken home.
Math
  • Complete both pages (double sided) of you new Translations booklet for tomorrow. The first page of this booklet is titled "What's the motion?". Make sure you include the slide arrow with your description of the movement between shapes.
