The day after...

Hello everybody!
Due to the excitement surrounding our incentive day yesterday, I forgot to add to the blog. I knew that my streak was going to end eventually.
Homework for today
Language Arts

• Maniac Magee questions - Chapter 10-12 for Tuesday

Don't forget to not come to school on Monday, it's a PD day.

Other dates to be aware of are:
Monday, December 6 - School Council meeting @ 7:00 pm
Thursday, December 16 - GPMS Christmas concert. 7:00 pm @ the U of L
Friday, December 17 - Christmas Dance
Thursday, December 23 - Last day of school for 2004

And, one final note, a HUGE thank you to all of you for your outstanding behavior at the Bowling incentive. You did a great job representing our class and our school in the community. Ms. A and I are very proud of you!

Hello...
Ms. A and I have had a very interesting and informative time meeting your parents and the conferences. We look forward to meeting the rest of them today. I would bet that you have all enjoyed the time off as the weather has been nice enough to allow you to do just about anything.

Reminder
We are only three weeks in to report period two and there are already a large number of outstanding assignments. As we do not have R&R this week, anything overdue from this week will need to be completed by Monday in order to recieve full marks. After that time, marks will be reduced but the assignment MUST still be completed. Missing assignments will prevent you from attending the next incentive and will affect your overall grade for the course. Ms. A and I are available for extra help - you need only ask us!

It's just another Manic Monday

Hello all...
Monday has come and gone with nothing to show for it but homework. Not too much homework though so don't despair.
Math

• Finish questions 3-6 in your Prime Factorization booklet. Remember that factor trees are complete when each branch ends in a prime number and the prime numbers are ordered in the equation from least to greatest. Division problems are complete when your final answer is 1. The divisors are then ordered least to greatest in the equation. Refer back to the examples that we completed in class and check your work by solving each multiplication equation.

Language Arts

• Manic Magee questions - Chapters 1-3
• Good copies of stories due Wednesday

Science

• Build 1 paper airplane as illustrated in the handout - your choice of model

Reminders

Extra help sessions for Math will be held Tuesday at lunch and after school.
