Half way there...

Hello all...
Students and parents should be aware of two upcoming activites for GPMS grade 6 students. The first is an Astronomy evening on February 3 and the second is the grade 6 incentive activity on February 11. More information about both of these events will be sent home in the next week.
Homework for today
Science

• The sun video questions - due Friday
• Night Sky observation journal - 3 entries due Monday
• Draw a picture of what you think it would look like on the surface of the Sun.

Math

• Displacement worksheet - due tomorrow
• Volume problems - due Friday

Language Arts

• Personal Narrative (aka: entertaining speech) - due for performance tomorrow

Social Studies

• Chapter 3 questions - due tomorrow
• Watch for China in the news
• Be prepared to explain the 3 basic human needs and give an example of each
