Is it Tuesday already?

So...long weekend #2 of this school year is officially over. I bet we all found it pretty difficult to get up this morning.
As stated in our class conversation this morning, let me take a moment to thank all of you for your help with the Feed the Bug event on Friday. I had no idea that I would be needed there all morning so thanks also for your patience and understanding when our planned classroom activities had to change.
In related news, Congratulations to our own Mason C. who won a turkey for being closest to his estimated time in the Turkey Trot.

Social Studies

• Rise of the Hellenes, The Minoceans, The Mycenaens - Questions and Vocabulary due Thursday

Math

• Page 10 in the blue booklet if you didn't finish in class
• Page 11 - Secret Number - Due Friday. Don't forget to list WIK and WINK as well as showing all work and using a complete sentence.

Language Arts

• Article rough draft due tomorrow

Science

• Be ready for your 3 question quiz tomorrow
• Revise answers to questions 1, 2, 5, 9, or 10 on your Air and Aerodaynamics worksheet if necessary

Dates to remember:

• School Board Candidate Forums - Wednesday, October 13 @ LCI and Thursday, October 14 @ G.S. Lakie Middle School. Both events begin at 7pm.
• GPMS Professional Development Day - October 22, 2004. No school!!
